In all honesty, Mike should be writing this blog as Mike grew up just outside this quaint community and it is still home to many of his family members. Mike loves this community and rarely drives through without getting a slice of pizza at Grammies or pulling over to chat with someone.
This historic community owes its’ beginnings to the railway which dates back to 1859. Industry in Parkhill includes the sawmill and foundry. The main street has beautiful Victorian style buildings and offers basic amenities including, grocery store, LCBO, library, banks, restaurants, gift shops, and more. Residents can walk everywhere in town and can also enjoy the conservation area which is a beautiful in all seasons. Parkhill is only a few minute drive to the shores of Lake Huron and Grand Bend and only 30 minutes to London. In terms of the Real Estate market, homes tends to be more affordable than London.
